About zROTO

zROTO answers one question that generic rankings can't: what is each player actually worth in your league? Your categories, your team count, your roster slots, redraft or dynasty — value is computed relative to all of it, using z-score rotisserie methodology that puts hitters and pitchers on one comparable scale.

The analysis is ours. You connect your league (Yahoo, Fantrax, or a manual CSV) only to import yourroster and settings; every number — values, projections, dynasty curves — is computed from free MLB data, not resold from anyone's feed.

What makes it different

• League-scoped valuation — values, not rankings, tuned to your exact scoring.
• In-house projections— a transparent model (recency blend, own multi-year baseline, aging curves, injury-aware playing time) that's been backtested against real outcomes, with both full-season and rest-of-season views.
• Dynasty lifetime value — a multi-year, age-curved, risk-weighted projection of what a player returns over the years you control him.
• Decision tools — trade finder, trade analyzer, free-agent needs, a league battle map, and a weekly action board.

Honest about the hard parts

Prospect values are stat-based (no scouting grades), quality starts are estimated, and the projection model is transparent rather than a black box — good for decisions, not a claim to out-forecast the industry's best. We'd rather show our work than overpromise.
